Vegan and natural (Honey or beeswax in two products). Rich in coconut oil, vitamin E and scented with essential oils.

Loving traditionally made soap, natural ingredients and being artists have come together, and we are excited to be producing this artisan range of health and beauty products with a personal touch.

We have developed recipes that we use at home, have sourced simple accessories and make all our products in our studio in small batches. All the packaging is designed by us and aims to be simple and reusable/recyclable.

The name of the business is my grandmothers, Margaret May, which appears as MMaySoaps in the logo. Margaret May was a strong and feisty independent Somerset farmer’s wife. She set up several small businesses herself, but always felt held back. She was fascinated when I went to art school and then went traveling. She would have loved these products and the local business ethos. She would also have been familiar with soap making on the farm especially in her childhood and during the war.
